Sort nyt: To nye fra Ugly Duck

Da Stovt for et års tid siden gæstede Ugly Duck/Indslev Bryggeri, der blev det nævnt, at man på ønskelisten for fremtidige bryg, havde drømmen om at brygge en Farmhouse Ale. Spol et års tid frem, og drømmen er gået i opfyldelse.
Farmhouse Ale: ”I wish I had a little house out in the country”, Old MacDonald (or someone else) once sang. And on this farm, there was a beer. The beer you´re holding right now. We started out by brewing a bone dry saison before letting it hibernate during the winter on 23 hl wooden foudres with Brettanomyces. The Brett gives your tastebuds just the enough kick to remind you of how summer in the countryside was, how the first kiss from your loved one was, and so it´s all coming back to you now. We sincerely hope you enjoy it, it was pretty hard to do...
Malts: Pilsner, Pale Ale, Caramel + Raw Wheat 6,5% alc. IBU 30
Follow the White Rabbit: The Matrix! Timothy Leary! Jefferson Airplane! Alice in Wonderland! Free your mind, and the rest will follow! We freed our minds a long time ago, and don´t let conventions stop us. This beer for example – by no means a normal IPA. We brewed it with Citra, Amarillo and Azacca hops, used Brett yeast and a lot of wheat. It comes together in a fresh, dry and yet round, fruity bitterness. And perhaps your mind will be challenged a bit as you taste it. Enjoy...
