What is your favorite beer?
As a brewer it's hard to pick just one. I've been inspired by so many different beers over the years. But if I have to pick one I would say it has to be Saison Du Pont.
What is your favorite beer type?
So many styles to choose from, but my favorite type of beers are saison style beers fermented with a mixed culture.
Where do you buy your beer?
I haven't bought much beer since I've moved to Denmark. Usually I go out to one of the Mikkeller bars, but when I'm purchasing beer to drink at home I hit Kihoskh or the Mikkeller bottle shop.
What has been your greatest beer experience?
My greatest beer experience... hmm... Well, being able to brew the beers I enjoy to drink is a wonderful experience I get to enjoy everyday. But another memory that stands out is collecting a bronze medal for Fruited Barrel Aged Sour Beer at the 2016 World Beer Cup, that was a pretty great feeling.
What makes beer so great?
Beer is great because it's so versatile. But I think what makes it so exciting it is ability to be fermented in such a variety of ways that still produces desirable effects. There are so many different types of yeast and bacteria out there that can ferment beer and make such amazing flavors and aromas.
